Baking buddies

Mark was so excited that I would actually be home this year to make his birthday cake - a yellow VW beetle, he was telling everyone! He wanted to help me make it and we had a blast together! You're a good helper, little buddy, Mark! Happy Birthday!

A few days later, Mark was my baking buddy for making bagels. He was so funny and cute and thought it was hysterical when the dough "tried to get out of the bowl"! He had fun "making it stay in there"! Today: I'm off to do some landscaping around my house, in preperation for renting it out. The rain just stopped and it promises to be a beaut of a day! Chinese fortune I got a few days ago - Do not count the days. Make every day count.
