The first time I saw Paris...
I stayed with the Debard family, who live in Paris and are former gypsies. The four of them came to A-lag for several months, while Kim stayed for one year. During that time, Natalie (the mother) helped in the kitchen and communication was often humorous as she spoke neither English nor Norwegian!
She made an amazing seafood dinner!!

The next day, we took the train into the city for sight-seeing.
Ladies lining up outside the store to shop for handbags. A guard at the door allows only 20 in at a time to avoid over-crowding.

It was so awesome to see the tower in person!!
The Sacré Coeur ( The Sacred Heart)
The dome is the second highest point in Paris, after the Eiffel tower.

Artists and musicians surround the cathedral, hoping to sell their wares.

Small cafes lined the area
It was quite a hot day, actually, so of course we had to sample the local gelato!
Too beautiful for words! I am told that the name Sacra was originally Sacre from the French:)
