California dreaming
This past week was a full one!
Three of my sisters, several good friends and I turned a year older!
My dad's sister passed away.
My mom, dad and I went to CA for the funeral, and got to see a bit of San Fransisco!
I drove using GPS for the first time!
I got to catch up with aunts, uncles and cousins who I hadn't seen in 13 years!
I missed seeing my grandpa, who wasn't well enough to make the trip.
We went to the pier yesterday for a photo shoot with some of the girls. Beautiful! (pictures coming in next post)
I am more thankful than ever for my place in the church and for the amazing friends that I have!!

Madre & Padre
We asked one of the locals in San Fransisco if there was anything we should see in the short time we were there, and were told that we should see The Crookedest Street. We drove up a STEEP hill to get there, and just over the crest saw...this. A paved path that snaked down the hill that someone called a road! I was the lucky driver and was thankful that we only had a mid-sized car and nothing larger!

And about muffins - yeah yeah ok. ;P I sorta knew that, but I still can't see why they cant all be called muffins. ;) cupcake is not really a name, it's just a description. Its a cake in a cup. yup - a muffin.
It was REALLY cool to see California in person! Go if you get the chance! :D
And yeah, I had to laugh over your "muffins". :D It's too bad since you like that name so much! :D Norwegian actually has a lot of descriptive names for things too - støvsuger, gulrot, gresskar... Oh well, the way things are. :D
