Song for a stormy night
It was a beautiful, stormy night last night and Laurel, Ruth and I sat out on the balcony to play games so we could watch the lightening and hear the thunder. We missed you, Angela! It's been going well with training up the new people in the kitchen. Busy, but good. It's going to be a busy weekend as well, with grilling and a bonfire tomorrow evening, American brunch with pancakes on Sunday and then the start-up A-lags feast on Monday, with 350 people. Lets do this!
Hey!! Miss you guys and a HUGE hello to Laurel and Ruth! We had a big thunder storm here last night...or so i'm told. I slept right through it! :) Finally going to use all the pancakes that i made!? Hehe, that was fun! Did you have to make more then or is what i did enough? Glad to hear everything is going well with the training, and good luck on the feast coming up!! See you very soon. Love ya!
Hey Teresa!
We had tons of thunder and rain here and I thought is would change the plans for the "Garden Party" bridal shower for Maria. Things cleared up enough to have it and it turned out very nice except for the humidity! You would have enjoyed it :-)
See you soon!
Hey Ange, the brunch went really well and there were plenty of pancakes with the ones you made. Everyone loved them! The feast is tonight and it's looking good. Nine pans of cheesecake are ready in the fridge! :D
Debbie - Sounds nice, except for the humidity! :D I would have loved to be there! Home in one week!
