Natalie finally got a chance last week to make the donuts she'd been aching to make! Rachelle and Cristina (Florina's sister) helped crank out around 500 donuts! They did a great job and had a lot of fun! They even made jelly-filled - a first here! Jenni was the donut nazi who made sure everyone took only their share. It's funny how people suddenly have lots of friends to get dessert for...! Let's just say there were no leftovers!

Our state-of-the-art deep fryer!

Happy Birthday (yesterday) to my Grandma! She is a really special person and I'm really glad we still have her around! She loves to garden and would wait until it rained to go out to do the weeding because she loved to feel the rain on her face. She has an ornery streak (which I love) and when we were kids she would sneak up behind us and tickle our ears or face with a tissue and then double over laughing when we swatted at the "annoying fly". She has a huge heart and would do anything to help anyone. Love you, Grandma!
AEG starts tomorrow and we are so pumped for it! We've been baking and baking and putting cakes and muffins in the freezer so people can still get their sugar high! We are still waiting on water hook-up for the new coffee machines so it doesn't look like we'll get to use them after all, or at least not right away. Boo!! We'll see what they get done today! Bring it on!!
oooh, I want donuts! :P
Seriously.
good luck with the whole AEG-thing. :)
Thanks, Mette! We should seriously get together before I go home!!
I miss Natalie's smiling face around here...
I would love that, Teresa! When are you going home?
Probably around June... nothing is definite yet. :)
The donuts look fantastic! I called Grandma on her birthday and she was very delighted with the flowers you sent her and she wanted to call you. Was wondering when you were coming home... like everybody else I guess. : )
Awww, cool. Glad she liked them. Hehe, like me too, I guess. I still don't have a definite date... We are working on it! :D
