Once upon a time...

...there were 3 little pigs, x 3... People from NA should recognize the wolf and at least 2 pigs! :D
The theme of our last A-lags feast was storybook characters and it was quite amusing to see what people came up with. Everyone was divided up into about 15 different groups and each group was given a story which they had to create a skit, props and costumes for. Each group gave their presentation during the last half of the feast. Some of the stories were familiar and others were Norwegian folk tales. Gershon and Nils Vedvik were the judges and awarded the top 3 groups a 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 kr prize for a fun evening out afterward.
Stephen and Aaron were the hosts = lots of laughs!
Jessika Altingul and Maria-Gracia
Hansel and Gretel - with a modern twist, where the parents took them to Disney World to lose them.
Little Red Riding Hood
A Norwegian folk tale about a poor man who got three wishes...
Cinderella - a classic! They did a great job and it was REALLY funny! They rightfully won first place! Some of the guys had way too much fun dressing up that night...!!
Winnie the Pooh - the group I was supposed to be in, but I never made it to any of the practices and therefore was not in the skit and therefore did not partake in the second prize winnings!
But this is the costume I came up with... lol
Goldilocks and The Three Bears - the funniest thing was that the three bears said everything in their native tongue so we heard, "Someone's been eating my porridge, and they ate it all up!", in Chinese!
Today: I have the weekend off so I've been doing things that need to be done before AEG starts on Wednesday! This will be the last day off for awhile since there is a back-to-back event after AEG, with another (five) after that as well! The event here this weekend is a dance competition for girls 5 - 16-ish, and the thumping disco music overhead is enough to drive you bonkers! There are entirely too many leggings, feathers and fake tans running around here! (Marvin K. Mooney...!!) Happy V-Day! I'm so thankful for all the awesome friends I have!!

Haha, Mark! The funniest thing is seeing people who you don't really know who were dressed up that evening, walking around in the dining hall or wherever. You're like, "Hehe, there's Rabbit! Or The Wolf!" :D Of course I will make donuts for Mark, if he helps me! :D
