What's not to love?

Over the weekend I (finally) figured out how to add text to photos in Paint Shop Pro, something I've wanted to do for a long time, but never took the time for. So frustrating fun! It only took me about 3 hours to figure out how to change the text color from pink! I was missing a part of the program and it just wasn't there, but I'm SO GLAD I figured it out in the end! I was looking online for some new note cards and bemoaning the fact that there is pretty much just crap out there, and decided to design my own! I had fun going through my photo archives and found 5 photos that I jazzed up and designed as note cards from Shutterfly. I received notification yesterday (one day later!!) that they had shipped! So excited and SO hoping they come in time to be brought over for me this weekend!!

Jenni and I made amazing cinnamon buns for dessert on Saturday (250) and some of them we turned into sticky buns, with caramel topping. Wow... yeah, there were no leftovers!

I'm loving my new spice rack(a gift)!! It has some cool, new herbs and spice blends that I've been having fun with!

Hello MARCH!! AEG has been over for a week now, but life is still (almost as) busy! We had an amazingly fun time in the kitchen during AEG, and we seriously could have just kept on like that for weeks longer! People would come to the kitchen and just stand in the doorway for a few minutes, smile, and go back to their jobs, or comment that they wished THEY were working in the kitchen too. I realized (again) that this is WHY I came to A-lag in the first place - to make food and work in the kitchen! I seriously love it. So, we have decided to try being a bit more hands-on, and Stephen and I are going to be in the cook rotation, starting this week (today)! It will be a bit more challenging keeping everything running while cooking, but I think we're up for the challenge! We're going to give it a shot, anyway! The snow is melting and the sun is shining, my two sisters and my new niece are coming to stay with me this weekend, good friends are coming in, I have the weekend off - what's not to love?!
