Distractions
"If you ask me, when a house looks like that, it's time to look for a new one." - Eeyore
And time for a break. Any excuse is a good one to break up the monotony. Projects like this remind me that I must have a touch of ADD, or something, when I walk from room to room and jump from one task to the next, constantly seeing something else "more important" to do, until I come full circle and start all over again. Not very effective. Although I will say progress has been made since the picture was taken. Yay. Note the very full garbage bag, full of, yes, garbage!
I came across this paper in a pile I was sorting through, and it made me laugh. Again.
When we first started making and serving chocolate chip cookies here on A-lag, people went at them like there was no tomorrow. "Never mind the people in line behind you, take a whole plateful and RUN!", seemed to be the mentality. It takes more cookies than you want to imagine to make enough for 250 people to each have a plateful, so I made this sign which reads "Only two per person". Some clever cookie-lover modified it to read, "Only two each time."
LOL,looks like fun! That is so me 2, only partly finishing before u go on to the next project (especially cleaning). I think it has something to do with just really NOT lovin what ur doin...and seein more important things to do:)
Good luck w/all that! Love ya!
garsh... Lol like the Eeyore quote. : )
Lol, ask me, ask me! You ARE ADD when it comes to projects. Kinda funny to watch, actually... =) All the best with packing, however. Hurry up and come home, already! Muah
have a good trip home! (perhaps you're home already...?). Hope you keep blogging from over there. :)
Thanks, Mette, and I intend to! :)
