Under the big top

Aaah, I'm getting behind, and I hate that! I have 5 more posts in my head, waiting to get out! :) We had our Fall Party a week ago last Saturday, and the theme was The Circus. It was a lot of fun, even though we had to have everything inside because of the nasty weather, which included rain, slush and SNOW! I don't remember ever getting snow in October... The meeting hall was turned into a cool "tent" and all the activities and concession stand were in the gym. Jenn and I did the meal, so I didn't get so many pictures, but I'm just waiting for Maria to post hers. Verba and she were in charge of the dress up photography and she got some amazingly cool shots!

Life is busy, but good! I turned 5 less than 40 yesterday, and I think it will do just fine. :) A friend posted a picture on Facebook yesterday that read, "Act Your Inside Age". I like that. The 5 year old girl that I put on the bus every morning told me yesterday, "You just get crazier, the older you get!" hehe. It was a good day, which included eating ice cream with Kris and her girlies, taking fun pictures, getting a little caught up on paperwork, going out for Mexican with Mom, Dad, Abbie and Ange, then being embarrassed by the house band singing to me, with a sombrero on my head, and getting cream blobbed on my nose by the waiter, tons of texts and happy birthday wishes from friends and family... On the way home, the song came on, "Oh, this is gonna be a good life, a good, good life." Yes, it is.
