Chocolate giveaway
I make this white chocolate with fruit and nuts every year for Christmas gifts. I wanted to do an online giveaway before Christmas, but never got around to it. So, if you would like a package of this to arrive on your doorstep or in your mailbox, leave a comment after this post and tell me what you are most thankful for in 2012! Comments have to be posted by midnight on Friday (my time), after which I will draw a random winner.

when my basement renovation project is finished! The kitchen counter top is removed and the new one is almost ready, the kitchen is painted, stuff is jammed into the living room and dining room, which also need painting, I'm about to start painting in the bedroom (after I get off of here), the wooden dining room table top for the pool table is being made and the new laminate floor is waiting to be put into the entire space. Yeah, that's a pretty tall order, but I'm tackling it as fast as I can! Will post before and after pictures later!

I really want to be apart of the chocolate giveaway. But I shouldn't. I will tell you though that I am thankful for the new year because it helps me to have a clean slate and try to be a better person. I think new years should come every 6 months because they are so motivating to do better.
I am also thankful that God allows me to feel thankful. Instead of thinking I am stuck in my own ways I can be thankful I am in the church and have the friends and a place to live, and a car I am praying won't break down any day. BUT that God allows to me thankful is the most important for me.
Would love to have some of that delicious looking stuff for my guests (not me, as that would derail my diet)! What I am most thankful for in 2012 is the grace to be along in the great work God is doing now on the earth! So thankful for light to see myself as I really am and know what to do to change, so that I can be a blessing to His body! I am thankful for the most amazing friends anyone ever had!!! I'm thankful to still be walking, thankful for my cozy home, thankful for work! For me, this is going to be the year of the Ant! :)
My favorite stuff! :) I'd love to have a little package of it arrive on my doorstep, hand carried by you! But I guess I'd have to settle for it being brought by the mailman..... pretty good too.
I am so very thankful to be alive in these days. Days that I can be along in the greatest work on earth! I am also so thankful for my kids---very cute at times, very trying at other times. my days with them let me see my need to be patient and kind, certainly not my nature! :)
