Apparently, it was a very short winter! My daffodils are up and think that spring is here. I cut them all off at the base and brought them inside, hoping that they'll bloom again when spring is actually here!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the chocolate giveaway! The winner (after doing eenie meenie minie moe 3 times) is Mary Fitch! Be on the lookout for a package from me, although I truly wish I could deliver it in person!! It seems that having the time and money to travel rarely go together!

My renovation project is coming along nicely! It's the basement apartment at my parent's, which I will be renting while I go to school and/or until I can afford to stop renting out my house. It's going to be quite cozy when I'm finished, and I'm loving it already! The new counter top and faucet are in and the bedroom is painted. Next on the list is ripping out the carpet from the bedroom and putting down the wood floor, then moving all the stuff from the living room and dining room into the kitchen and bedroom, then do the painting and floor out there. It's coming, it's coming.

Today is my first day of classes! I'm excited and nervous to be a college student again.. I'll be majoring in nutrition and dietetics, which is a 4 year degree. So, if you see a little less of me on here, that will probably be why. I like learning, though, and am really looking forward to getting a job that I like and that suits me (and pays well)! Three cheers for microeconomics!!

Teresa!! Yippee! I will be able to taste that yummy looking stuff :) Sherry and I were laughing that we were competing for the same treats ~ and that we'd have to get together for sure for tea and yummy chocolate nutty stuff from afar! Thanks!! Looking forward to it.....
Also my very best wishes with your classes! that sounds like that major is quite up your alley :) Enjoy and use the time well ~ as I'm sure you will.
btw, you have daffodils there~ I just spotted on my bushes that I have 4 roses beginning to bloom. but yes, I'm afraid they may not last as it can still get a bit nasty at this time of year.
Have a good first day!

Mary
