It's the little things...

Sometimes it's the little things that make your day. Like finding "almost dill pickles" in the local grocery store! They were sitting way up on the top shelf - Extra Fine Gherkins from France. I quickly retrieved a jar and scanned the label to see if they were loaded with sugar, as the majority of their Norwegian counterparts are. To my joy, there was not a trace of sugar in them, and upon tasting them, pronounced them spicy, tangy and, while not a true blue dill pickle, they sure do the trick to fixing your dill pickle craving! Yeah, I'll be picking these up again on my next shopping excursion, along with my current favorite tea, Twinings Brazilian Baia; black tea flavored with coconut, cocoa beans and vanilla. Add a little honey and milk and it doesn't get much better!

Kris says they aren't really pickles at all. I agree with Debbie about the tea. Hey, here's an idea. I will trade you some pickles for tea since you can't come all the way home just to get pickles and I probably won't get to that particular store to buy some tea, and I do love a good cup of tea. Maybe I can go visit Debbie one evening and share a cuppa. : )
