Snowglobe

Hello weekend! This one sure felt good and was pretty relaxing. Today I slept in until 2:00 pm which is pretty much unheard of, but it felt awesome!! Last weekend we got dumped on with around three feet of snow, with much higher drifts. It was really beautiful even though it makes so much work! Our new "kitchen car". We sold the yellow one and bought this one that is large enough to transport all the supplies from the center down to the kitchen. We are responsible to pick up all our own deliveries now. It's a marshmallow world! I went to dig out a friend who lives behind the very-snowed-in blue door! Luckily, the snow was very fluffy and light and you could basically brush it away. Today: Looking out my window this morning, I feel like I'm living in a snow globe! The snow is falling straight down and it doesn't look like it's stopping anytime soon! I was kind of hoping that last weekend was the part where it stops as I am really ready for green grass and flip-flop weather, but not happening! There's more snow in the forecast all week! I've been working this weekend on a secret project for a friend who has a birthday next week. Fun, fun! Also, last weekend they called an emergency A-lag feast for this evening so we scrambled getting ready for that one! It's pretty low-key though, as there are still 60 people away doing inventory in Germany. They announced a few days ago that your admission to the feast is a self-portrait, which will then be judged for the best one. I finished mine late last night. Sarah says it looks like Abbie. Hmmm. Maybe I should add a few more wrinkles?? Well I'm off to get some stuff done before the feast at 7:00. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
