Got Pork?

This picture was taken right before Christmas but I never got it included in a post until now. Good times with fun girls! Miss you, Marie!! Aby and Anne celebrated their 10th Wedding Anniversary today, here at Brunstad. I was one of the lucky few who were invited and it was a nice evening of good food, cheese and wine and good friends! We were encouraged to give our lives to serve and bless the others, without expecting or demanding anything in return. I knew that Norwegians ate a lot of pork, but didn't realize exactly HOW much until I saw on Facebook this evening that a friend (Norwegian) posted that she just found out that she was allergic to pork, dairy and gluten, and would need to make some adjustments to her eating habits. To which one of her friends, also Norwegian, replied, "Oh man, I guess you'll be going vegetarian?" "Something like that", she replied. Hehe. Right on.

Hey Teresa! Happy New Year to you!
I am making a big pot of pinto beans and ham with corn bread on New Years Day! YUM!
It looks like we have the Mtg Hall for New Years Eve and the weekend since the settlement has been delayed.
