So this is Christmas...

I spent a relaxing and enjoyable couple of days with David and Lene and the family over Christmas time this year. It was so nice to be together with them and we had a lot of fun (and a lot of snow)!

My gymnastic gingerbread man came out of the cookie cutter like this and we decided to bake him like that!

Today: I got back to B-ville last night and we got the food-making gears cranking again today. We were dumped on with snow during Christmas vacation so that made everything more challenging, with digging out the kitchen van and then loading and unloading 4 full van-loads of food for the week, clearing a path from the refrigerator to the kitchen, etc. I love snow, but when you have to carry every, single kg of food into the kitchen and up the stairs because carts don't work in the slush, it starts to become slightly less lovely! :) I had an awesome chat with Dad this evening. He is still in the hospital after his post-Christmas scare, but he is stable and doing well, considering. He is in good spirits and full of faith, as always, and we are thankful for every day we still have together. Thanks for all the prayers!
