For we NEED a little Christmas Springtime, right this very minute...

It feels like Christmas is just around the corner, only it's SPRING and sun and birds singing and GREEN and no more coughing and fever yucky-ness! It feels like I've gotten sick off and on ever since I got back, and I don't know if that's just a climate adjustment or what, but I am SO ready for warm weather right now! I got hit with another round of cough, sore throat and high fever and was in bed for most of the past 3 days, but didn't get well fast enough to make the girl's weekend in NY this weekend. Bummer! Today was a BEAUT and we've had the windows open all day! The birds, geese and spring peepers are out, and even I was out in the (warm) sun, soaking up all the get-better-quick rays possible! It was awesome!! I guess I'll use the weekend to give this cough the BOOT, get caught up on editing pictures and try not to think about the friends I'm missing! More peppermint tea with honey, please!
