JAC
| For last JAC (Junior Activity Club), we went to a cool park with an awesome playground for kids. The kids didn't stop running for more than a minute or two! |

Hehe, love this one, even if it's blurred. On the way to the park, Mark, age 4, was discussing how much it costs to buy a new house, with Connor, also 4, and said, "It costs a LOT of money to buy a new house! Like $48.00, or maybe even $100.00!!" (with a little shoulder shrug at the end) lol.
Madison was thrilled with the "swing with a back"!!

We stopped for ice cream on the way home. Katie told her mom, after she got home, "That wasn't Junior Activity Club! We just went to the park!" Hehe.
(This post is several days old since Blogger has been down and I wasn't able to post it, so I'm adding pics from last night's JAC as well. Katie's sentiment was duly noted, and we did a hands~on activity, and made soft pretzels!) :D
It doesn't get much more fun than having your own lump of dough to make whatever you want with it! ( I know. My mamma used to give us our own little lumps whenever she made bread!) ;) I made pretzel sticks with cheese dip and cinnamon sugar for our snack, and the kids got to take the "pretzels" that they made home with them. Kid~made food never looks like it's supposed to, so my apologies for the funny/interesting looking items sent home. Hey, they had fun!
Connor and his "snowman". The snowman kinda separated during the pre-baking, boiling process. lol.
There's his cute smile!
Katie also made a "snowman".
Jude was our bonus "little guy", this time. LOVE this kid!

While the pretzels were rising, we walked outside to see Mom's strawberry plants, which have TONS of green strawberries on them. The kids were super excited that they might be red (pink, for Jude) the next time they come, and that they might be able to pick one to eat! :) It's fun because the kids are getting to know each other as a group and learning how to interact with each other, and me. Between one kid falling off a stool, chasing the geese in the yard, playing on the swings, rolling dough, throwing dough, dropping dough, eating dough, learning to listen, learning to take turns and share and tons of laughs, we had a great time!
LOVE!!! Connor's face is pretty priceless in the first picture of him and his snowman :P
Thank you so much for having them and the "bonus little guy" this time as well!! Was such a huge help!!
what fun! the kids are all so cute. What awesome times they'll remember! :D (love the new blog header!!.. or at least I haven't seen it before because I usually read in Google Reader!)
looks like fun! : )
