Of kransekake and kittens
I pulled out my kransekake pans last week, and put them to good use. Two of my good friends got married over the weekend, and I made a kransekake (typical Norwegian) to go along with the wedding cake. The rings expanded and fused together during baking, on my first attempt, and Kris let me use a package of pre-made dough that she had left over from Christmas. Lets just say that although the packaged dough turned out smoother and lighter, I'll be making my own kransekake dough from scratch from now on! It actually tasted like something you would want to eat! Abbie made this face and sent the picture to me! It made my day!
We got pelted with random hail a few days ago. One of my friends was out mowing her yard at the time! Ouch!!
(baby rabbits are also called kittens)
My dad disturbed a rabbit's nest while doing some grading in the yard. This cute little guy escaped with just a nicked nose. His family wasn't so lucky... His eyes were watering and he was making sobbing, sniffling noises. Awww. Ange made sure he found a good home! :)
It's been a busy week, but I wanted to post a few quick pictures before I get completely behind again. Looking forward to having brunch, and spending the day with some cool people, tomorrow!

Adorable little bunny... :)
