A little taste of Brunstad
If you go to Brunstad during the summer, the one place you must go to is the fish restaurant! They make the most amazing fish soup, Bergen style! I got the recipe from a friend, who worked there, and a few days ago, decided to try my hand at recreating it. It was almost spot on, and we scraped the bottom of the pot, enjoying our memories of Brunstad! For those of you who have jealous tendencies, you're on my list for the next round. ;)
Can you believe that it's September already, and FALL??!! It's my
favorite time of year, and I love that it's just a little chilly at
night, and that the windows can stay open all day. Love the crisp apples, pumpkin custard, warm sweaters and tea by the fire. Bring it on!
Today: We're packing up and leaving for another youth weekend in New York! I'm sure it will be an amazing weekend, and I'm definitely looking forward to driving through the night on Sunday to be home for Labor Day! :D Oh, yes!
Happy weekend, everyone!!
Can I have a jealous tendency even if Isaac can't have the soup? Yum!
Of course, Maria!! :D
looks great!! i LOVE the fall too!! :)
That looks so scrumptious, Teresa! And brings back awesome memories of sitting at the fish restaurant at VBS!! Um....is it pretty "frekk" to as for the recipe? Have you been sworn to secrecy?
Thanks, and yes, I did promise not to share the recipe ~ sorry! All you have to do is drop by, though... ;)
