September

We catered our first event at Myers Pointe on Saturday. It was a lot of work, in a challenging kitchen, but it was lots of fun, too, and the guests were all happy! I love that we're using some of the profits to update the kitchen for future use! Good deal! Looking forward to the next one already!! 

The lack of photos is due to 1. not enough time during food prep 2. I misplaced my camera battery charger 3 weeks ago, and both batteries are nearly dead. Still waiting for the replacement charger to arrive...

Today: I just made a September picture folder on my computer, but wait, it's half way through September already. What??!! I also submitted 6 soups for a new soup, salad and bread stick menu at Myers Pointe. I think people will come just for the soup! 

I'm LOVING the fall weather and the fact that the windows are just left open! I'm going to pick up two more trees to replace the ones that didn't make it in the heat this summer, run my brother to the airport, make cheddar potato broccoli soup for dinner, then hang out with my sister and her two girlies who I haven't seen in weeks, it feels like! Add an iced coffee to that and I'll take this Monday!
