Those were the days, my friend

Friends come and friends go. That's how it works around here. You work with someone for a year and get to know them almost inside and out, so you recognize who is coming down the hall before you ever see them. We have good days, silly days, "help me just get through it" days, and through it all, we are bound together as friends for life. It's always hard to see people go and, inevitably, everyone thinks of the day it will be their turn to leave. Last week we said goodbye to Marina, someone who has become very dear to my heart! We've been through a lot together and it's been really special to have had her in the kitchen. Hvis du leser her Marina, vi savner deg skikkelig og håper at det går bare bra med deg hjemme!! We miss you too, Eloane!!
Emily wanted to have banana splits instead of a traditional A-lag meringue cake. It was fun and they were good!
Saying goodbye!
Today: It was beautiful today after the ferocious storms we had over the weekend. We actually had lightening and thunder and I opened my door wide so as to get the full effect! It was awesome and I do miss storms. It was also a good day inside and a nice break after a true-blue Monday yesterday. I started packing up after work today. I have to move out of my apartment as it was rented out for the event this weekend. It takes a lot to move out 21 months of acquired stuff and I usually end up stuffing what I don't need in suitcases and shoving them in the closet. If someone goes through them and decides they need a pair of shoes more than me, then so be it and I guess they are welcome to them! This evening I am invited out to a friend's cabin with some other girls. It should be a good evening! Thinking of you Buddy and praying you are doing well and home soon!!

Hello my friend,
Looks like you continue to live a very full and happy life!
I found some Victory Feast pics on the NECCC and Ottawa sites in case you have time to look.
It is getting a little chilly here at night and I am starting to think about shoes instead of sandals.

Hi Debbie! I have been checking the Ottowa site but I lost the NECCC site address. Could you send that to me? We've been out of sandals here for about a month and a half. I pulled my winter coat out and hung it up and it feels like I'll be using it soon!

hey Teresa,
Buddy came home from the hospital Sunday night!!! On Saturday the pain went away due to them giving him caffeine and now the doctors wanted to say he never had Spinal Meningitis!! That he just had a migraine. Guess those doctors don't believe in the power of prayer.
Didn't know if you knew that news yet so I decided to inform you. LOVE YA,
mina
P.S. I am doing awesomely well here in Salem. Hopefully we meet on MSN sometime and we can chat.
