New Blog!
Over the weekend, I was surprised with a visit from some friends from the good old US of A! They popped by after the youth meeting Saturday evening and we had a really nice evening together. Annette and Katie were just visiting from Salem, Dorcas is living in Denmark at the moment and came for the youth conference and Ellen and Emily are here on A-lag. During the course of the evening, (about 11:30) the subject of a certain movie came up, which no one had seen before but all wanted to. We ended up turning on Our Mutual Friend which is 6 hours long, at 12:00! (Do not try this at home!) We kept ourselves awake with nachos and tea. When I turned in at 5:00, with an hour still to go, it was only Ellen and Dorcas left and they were totally into it. I got up for work at 8:00 and rather fumbled my way through the day. Luckily it was a slow weekend!

Today: Well I am off to work. It's a pretty normal day today (hopefully!) and then I have to finish packing up after work and move out. Yeah, we're rolling with that one. Happy Wednesday!
I am glad you could enjoy some familiar friends...I know how much it means to see someone from "home" when you are away. What's with them all holding the pillows? Oh and what was the movie?
The movie was Our Mutual Friend and the first two girls picked up pillows to make more room on the couch, and then the others needed pillows to hold too. hehe
I had posted this whole long comment this morning and the internet connection timed out. Oh well... lol. Basically I said you were crazy. very crazy for watching such a long movie an it better have been a good one to last that long. : ) But, good friend, good fun, and good sleep the next night! Btw... whenever you give me a date, I will start counting down the days til you come home again. Can't wait! : )
