To everything...

I love when THIS…
…turns into THIS!!
Especially when it's gluten and sugar free! I love this banana bread recipe that I got from a friend in South Africa! It doesn't last long! Thanks, Marie!

Banana Bread

2 cups flour (I use spelt or gluten free)
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar (1/2 cup honey)
2 eggs, beaten
4 overripe bananas, mashed (2 1/3 cup)
I also added:
1 tbsp lime juice
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1/8 cup unsweetened coconut

Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar, or honey. Add beaten eggs and mashed bananas (and lime juice, vanilla, walnuts and coconut if desired). Add to the flour mixture and gently stir just until mixed. Pour into one greased bread pan and bake at 350 F (175 C) for 60 min. Serve warm with a little butter.

Happy Birthday to my sister, Jenn! I hope you have an extra special day! Thanks for all the good memories!

oh yum. :) I wanna make this!

About the fonts in my blog - I put the fonts directly on photos in Photoshop, and just make jpgs of those and post them in the blog. you cant use fancy fonts in writing in the post it self, unfortunately!
