Hello 2011!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
We spent a rather quiet New Years Eve together with friends and family. The new year was welcomed in with cheers, games, music, encouragement and laughter. I am really excited for 2011! I have a gut feeling that it's going to be an extra special year! I'm glad that I don't know exactly how it will all turn out. I know that everything will not be perfectly according to (my) plan, but I'm so thankful that God is in control and I can be in rest no.matter.what.
Things I am looking forward to in 2011:
learning to be more thankful instead of critical
learning to change myself, and not the others
GETTING A JOB
my two good friends getting married
my house selling
my friends having another baby
having my own space
being close to the ocean in the summer
homegrown tomatoes
Today: We got rain, as forecasted, over the weekend, and now all we have left is a few soggy reminders of the snow that we got last week. Maria, what happened with your sign??
It was a good day, scholastically, for the family. Awesome job, Ange, for getting a 100% on your TE paper!! You worked your socks off for that one and I am so proud of you!! Congrats, Jer, for getting your (next level) certification in electronics! You rock!
I got a call, today, from the assisted living center where I had my interview last week, and was asked if I could come in and "cook something" tomorrow afternoon. Yes, yes, I could! :) He said it's up to me what I make and that it can be something simple or I can get as crazy as I want. What.to.make. Suggestions??
