My niece, Maia, has a birthday today! 

Hurray for one-year-olds!!

She 

puts a smile on my face every time I see her

makes a growling, gurgling noise and flaps her arms when she's happy and excited (which is often)

has a FIT when she can't hold the laptop to watch movies on You Tube

is one tough kid

loves anything that looks like food

is a bundle of energy

adores her big sister, Madi

is spunky & determined

does not like to cuddle and wants to be in the middle of everything

will be walking unassisted anytime, and then look out

makes the funniest faces and wrinkles her nose and smirks, even to strangers

has an awesome sense of humor

  rocks my world
