Birthdays!
We celebrated Sarah's birthday on Monday. It was nice to get out again and hang out! We had a nice evening with a few friends and good food and lots of laughs! Quentin LOVED when she played guitar and tried to help! Too cute!

I thought I was going to sneak through my birthday this year, but when I came into the office, it was plastered with balloons from floor to ceiling, with roses and, ahem, a red cowboy hat with white boa feathers?! The girls also surprised me with an ice cream cake by telling me I needed to come up and taste the soup, then everyone was waiting in the hall with the lights out and candles lit! Hence, no pictures of that. Mom called me later in the evening and it was really nice to catch up again with her and a few others from home!

Ok, there were too many requests to see this...and it's the ONLY TIME you'll ever see it!
I had Jess, Andrea M and Haike over yesterday after dinner. Jess and I made "American pancakes" together, which she LOVES! She went from the kitchen to landscaping in September and was showing me her new MUSCLES! She then decided she wanted to arm-wrestle me! Haike started snapping pictures. It was pretty funny!
Today: It's Monday and I have tons of stuff on my to-do list. I have to plan the menu for two feasts, finish organizing our kitchen trip tomorrow, make some more cider and several meetings on top of the regular daily stuff. Should be a full and interesting, but nevertheless good day! Cheerio!

Yeah, I agree about the top pic being blank. Tried it on two different computers. Hehe, funny Jess... she can't take you down. Even though I bet she could be me arm wrestling. : ) I can still beat Ang an Josh tho!
That last comment should have said Jess could probably "beat" me, not be me, and now I can't see the second pic. I've already seen it so that is ok, but I tihnk something is weird on your comp. or something. Maybe too many pics for one post... :P NEVER!!!

I think I fixed the pictures now. I think it was because I copied the pictures from a previous draft and then deleted the draft. The dumb thing is that when you post, it posts the time you started the draft, not the time you post it, so if you start a draft a few days earlier, it still posts that time. Pretty dumb...
