Joke's on me
And who holds the oceans in His hand -
He is yearning to possess our spirit,
And for us He has a glorious plan.
When you turn your back on worldly folly,
You'll show forth His glory and His praise.
If you place you life into His keeping,
He'll transform and guide you all your days.

Hello Tuesday! It seems the joke's on me! I was kindly informed today that my previous post was early by several weeks and that Fathers Day was actually the 21st of June, not the 7th. I am not sure how that happened as I don't have an American calendar but checked the dates online. Somehow I either got the wrong date/year or I forgot it with everything that is going on. So, I guess Dad gets a double shout-out this year! :D For the past three weeks, we have tried something different in the kitchen. Instead of having two choices for dinner, such as chicken or fish, and beef or pork, rice, potatoes and pasta, veggies and a mixed salad, we have made only one entree with one starch, veggies, and then the same salad bar that we have for lunch every day, which is a favorite with everyone. Today we put out a questionnaire on the tables at dinner to see if people preferred having one choice and the salad bar or two choices and a mixed salad. We also had a general comment and suggestion section to fill out. Some of the responses were pretty funny! I'll post some of them in my next post. Thanks for the chat with webcam today, Kris and Madison! It was really cool to see you guys again! Countdown till Angela arrives: 14 days!

I guess we will have to make sure you have a real american calendar with holidays for next year.
