Time

I love the fact that there is a time for everything. A time when you know you are in the right place at the right moment. There is such a peace and rest that comes over you, no matter what the situation is. When someone leaves A-lag during the middle of the year, they are given a goodbye speech and a thank-you token during the lunch break. Sverre Riksfjord was giving one such a good-bye speech about a month ago, to someone who had been here for two years. He said that when you have lived at Brunstad for longer than one year, it becomes much more difficult to leave. You have put roots down and made connections and established yourself in such a way that it requires a real effort to get back out to the real world. He said that when a person has been on A-lag for over two years, you are basically faced with one of two choices: you either make a firm decision to leave and begin to dig and extricate yourself out...or get engaged! Let the digging begin! As of today, we are looking for someone who can take over for me in the near future. There is no set date, but it's pretty much as soon as I have someone to replace me. I have loved my time here but it feels good to be thinking about going back home now. Funny how it all fell into place today, and funny how it feels so right.

What a surprise to see yet another post today and your very surprising news- at least for me it is.
Let's pray that the perfect person comes to take your place :-)!!

It was really encouraging for me to read your post. I didn't think you'd be going home a little while yet. You are right though, there is a peace that comes over your life when you know you are where God wants you to be. I am glad that you will be doing as God wishes and I will pray for your plans to go well.
