Luck be a lady

Just a quick hello and happy weekend! We are keeping out of trouble busy! Angela helped to make 650 chocolate chip cookies a few days ago. The leftovers are in the freezer labeled as beef stroganoff! We had a moment of panic two days ago when the meat company didn't deliver the meat that was to be used for dinner that day until 3:30, with dinner served at 5:00. They were not very simpathetic when I told them that it was impossible to prepare and slice 50 kg of pork roast in 1.5 hours, that there were 260 people depending on us to have dinner ready on time and that I needed better service from them. Luckily we had a few pans of spaghetti in the freezer which we heated up with some leftovers from the day before and it was juuust enough. Please don't do that to us again!! It's been amazingly beautiful weather this week, hitting the 80's. People are freaking out because it is SO HOT! Angela and I just smile. Now if only there was a real beach here...
