No birds for breakfast

"Why, hello!
I don't remember inviting you in!
Please leave now!"

This is why screens are actually a really good invention, something that has yet to be introduced in Norway! When I previously spoke with the person in charge of maintenance here at Brunstad about our problem with birds and bees in the kitchen (haha, no pun intended) since we must have the windows open for ventilation, he said he would look at the windows and try to come up with a solution. His recommendation - build a box frame with netting around the outside of all the windows. Um, right. That sounds very attractive! Where I come from, we actually have this really cool device that's called a screen that we've been using for over 100 years, and it fits neatly on the inside of the window so that you hardly even see it, and it works wonders at keeping pests out! Bingo! :-)

Excuse me while I go buy mesh netting by the yard...

Hehe, well, generally air conditioners are not a necessity, unlike screens, in my opinion. :D It's just completely unhygienic on every level to have birds hopping on the tables and bees and flies crawling in the honey and nugatti. So. Annoying.

I don't think mesh netting by the yard is in your budget...
