Kitchen outing
Our amazing kitchen team - overlapped with 5 people coming and going.
We took our end of the year trip (for those who started last summer) on Monday. We rented two boats after lunch and went to Skravestad, grilled chicken and corn on the cob, played volleyball and had an awesome time, then came back to Brunstad and went bowling. It was a beautiful day and perfect weather - a great way to remember this fun gang!
The boats were all compromised to go only 20 mph, so that you don't have to have a license to drive them. Our boat was slightly lacking in the oomph department and decided that 18.5 mph was all it could handle, and thus the other boat got there 5 minutes before us! Everyone wanted to ride in the "fast boat" on the way back!
"What?! I'm chust steering ze boat."
Fresh, sweet, watermelon! Yum!
All the different nationalities sang a song in their language. We represent France, Romania, Turkey, USA, India, China, Finland, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa, Holland and New Zealand. How cool is that??

Thanks for a fantastic day!!
Nice to see Daniela here :) Thanks for all!
Think it's cool having so many nationalities. Does everyone speak Norwegian to eachother? Hehe, I know when I worked in the kitchen for a week or so just after I got to Norway I didn't understand too much but learned a lot of words from hand signals. : )
We (mostly) speak Norwegian. :P We have to work at it, though, because you may or may not have noticed that we don't have any Norwegians in the kitchen right now, so it's not always what comes naturally. :)Fun, fun!! :D
