I had a touch of a stomach bug Christmas day, so I only sampled the good food, but good it was, and so nice to all be together! I'm so glad that we don't have to travel for hundreds of miles to see each other! It was really  nice to be home before Christmas this year, and not feel like a guest who came for a few week's visit, leaving again the day after Christmas! Good luck with that, Jenni!! ;) 

I had an interview yesterday, for a job as cook in an assisted living center five minutes from here. It went well and may be just what I've been looking for. I'll hear back from him by the end of next week. Fingers are crossed, here! 

The snow that started on Christmas day and ended two days later is already melting away! Here's hoping for SNOW instead of RAIN this weekend!
