For we need a little Christmas...
...right this very minute!
We got the tree up yesterday, lights put on and most of the decorating around the house done! Note to self - remember to plug in the lights for the tree and stair garland BEFORE putting them up!
In
the midst of all the decorating, Angela made a scrumptious chocolate
cake to take into work today! We had to keep tasting the frosting to
make sure it was ok. You never know with chocolate frosting. It can
change texture, flavor when chilled, etc. It's best just to keep tasting
it to make sure it's still good!

I LOVE MY GOOFY, AWESOME SISTER!!
Today's to-do list:
consume coffee
take chocolate cake to Angela's work since she didn't want to carry it around school until she goes to work after lunch - go figure!
pick up Abbie from school and go Christmas shopping
find more Christmas lights in my ceiling-high pile of tubbed belongings
remove stair garland and re-string with working lights; re-hang
plan and organize Christmas feast dinner for Sunday - can't wait!
search for and apply for more jobs
listen to Andrea Bocelli "My Christmas"
finish decorating the tree
drink amazing chai tea (from Roshini) with Mamma
maybe do some Christmas baking

Does Roshini make her Chai tea?? If so, what's the recipe??
She does make some herself, but I don't have the recipe. She gave me a box of Tea India brand Marsala Chai Tea. Mmm good brewed with half water, half hot milk and sugar/honey. :) If you want to ask her what she does, she's the "We believe in miracles" blog. :)
HaHa...I think its awesome that you didnt plug the lights in first..lol. I learned that a few years back when I used to do the tree at home. Sorry for me haveing amusment @ your expense, but it doesnt happen that often - you being my much wiser older sis an all:)
